Hi folks we have a great deal on at the moment on Tange Levin headsets. These look absolutely perfect on vintage rebuilds and they are as high quality as you would expect from a company that has been around for over a 100 years.

Available in Chrome and Alloy both headsets are NJS accredited. NJS parts are of the highest quality and certified to be used in Keirin races in Japan. They are perfect replacements for 70s and 80s Campagnolo Record headsets and you’d be hard pushed to tell the difference.

Measuring the Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD)

Specialities chainringBolt Circle Diameter or BCD is the diameter of the circle that goes through the centre of all of the bolts on your chainring.  On bicycle chainring this dimension is usually measured in millimeters.  It is critical to know the BCD of your crankset when you are selecting a new chainring for your bike.  In many cases the BCD is printed right on the chainring and sometimes it is stamped or engraved on the back side of the chainring. Columbus tubing in the 80’s

Some of the greatest riders in cycling history have relied on the strength and quality of Columbus tubing. In that number you can include Merckx, Hinault, Coppi, Anquetil, Moser, LeMond and Roche to mention a few.

Columbus tubing was the main competitor to Reynolds in the bicycle tube set market with many of the big name Italian manufacturers of bicycles and framesets utilising their products.
