An 1980’s 58cm Reynolds 531c Raleigh Team Panasonic replica. The bike is in very good overall condition but does have a few scratches to the paintwork and decals. It has Campagnolo dropouts and a Shimano 600 Tricolor groupset which is in mint condition.

About Raleigh

eric1The Raleigh Bicycle Company from Nottingham, England was founded by Woodhead and Angois in 1885, it is one of the oldest bicycle companies in the world.

Panasonic was a Dutch professional cycling team that raced with Raleigh bikes in the mid-1980’s. It was formed in 1984 by team manager Peter Post when the TI-Raleigh team split up. The team included riders such as Eric Vanderaerden and Robert Millar, the bike comes with a Eric Vanderaerden postcard.

An early 70’s 52cm Fuschia Mercier in superb condition. The bike is like new apart from where the paint has been scratched on the chainstay and also a small tear on the saddle. The bike even has the original handlebar tape. Worth mentioning is the new condition of the original MAFAC brake hoods which is very rare.

About Mercier

Raymond Poulidor
R. Poulidor

Mercier was a French bicycle manufacturer with a strong racing tradition. The professional cycling team of the same name promoted and raced the factory bikes with famous riders like Raymond Poulidor.

Together with bitter rival Peugeot they had a long presence in the sport and particularly in the Tour de France from 1935 until 1983. More info here.

Vitus 992 frame

A vintage 55cm Vitus 992 frame and forks with a Mavic headset. The aluminum frame and forks are in very good condition with just a few barely visable blemishes, a small dimple on the frame under the “i” of Vitus on the right hand side and another couple by the waterbottle lugs caused by a bike rack.

Sean Kelly one of the world’s most famous and respected cycle racer was synonymous with the Vitus marque during the peak of his professional career, when according to his own estimation he rode Vitus bikes to victory in no less than 80% of his pro career wins which included winning the Vuelta, the green jersey on the TDF and seven consecutive Paris-Nice wins among many others. About ALAN

ALAN was founded in 1972 by engineer Falconi Lodovico and the name originated from the names of his children Alberto (AL) and Annamaria (AN)

ALAN began producing racing bike frames in 1972 with the first frames being available in aluminium. The frames were constructed with a unique method by bonding tubes and lugs using a special glue which originated from the aeronautical industry. It was the first company in the world to produce aluminium and carbon frames.

Along with success in the world of road cycling ALAN has had huge success in the cyclocross world championships (20 titles) a testament to the strength of Alan equipment. More info about ALAN.

About Olmo

Team OlmoOLMO-GiuseppeGiuseppe Olmo was born on the 22 November 1911. He was an Italian road bicycle racer, who once held the world hour record. As with many Italian bicycle racers, after his retirement in the 1930s he began building bicycles, and founded Olmo.

The Olmo Biciclette manufacturing centre was set up in his home town of Celle Ligure in 1938, where the company continues to manufacture their bicycles today. More information available here.

A 1980 59cm ALAN Super Record in excellent condition. The ALAN Super Record has an aluminium and lugged frame construction which helps make it a very light bicycle. The bike was originally supplied new to the previous owner by Harry Hartman Cycles in Holland, the bike comes with the owners original wool cycling top with the cycle shop name on it.

The bike has a superb list of mainly Campagnolo Gran Sport components.
