Plum based in Ghent, Belgium, is a famous name in cycling and has a history dating back over a hundred years. During the 50’s and 60’s the Plum shop was the unofficial hub for pioneering British riders racing in Europe, including Tommy Simpson.
The shop is still there and it is still a mecca for cyclists however these days the shop sells modern bikes and equipment but downstairs there is the famous Plum Museum. Which has many famous branded bicycles from the past including the Plum Vainqueur. You can find the plum site here.
