Windsor “Cinelli” Professional
1970s 53cm Windsor Professional. Although an almost identical copy of a Cinelli Speciale Corsa the Windsor was a fine bicycle in its own right.
The Professional were built by framebuilder Remo Vecchi, who had worked for Cinelli in Italy on the Speciale Corsa. He was brought over to Mexico specifically to build the Professional. These were produced to celebrate the Eddy Merckx world record in Mexico city, which Windsor had part sponsored.
This Windsor has Columbus SL tubing, weighs just 2.5kg, has chrome lugs, chrome fork crowns and chromed Campagnolo dropouts. This like many other Windsors was rebranded with Cinelli decals!
